Matias was first licensed in 2008 and served as an assistant to Shelley Ostrowski who sold him his first home in Yuma County. They worked together until they decided to form the Yuma Home Team and became business partners. He is bilingual in Spanish. Matias is active in his community and currently is serving his second term as a City of San Luis Council Member. He served his first term as Vice Mayor. He serves as Chairman to the Greater Yuma Port Authority and sits on the Greater Yuma Economic Development Corporation. He has have been on the Yuma County Planning & Zoning Commission for 8 years and currently serve as Chairman. He is a Wish Granter for the Make A Wish Foundation. He is a father of 4 children and has been married for over 20 years. He loves pets and enjoys traveling and playing kickball and softball. He joined Realty One Group in 2020 after being with another franchise for 12 years.
